Head's Welcome

Dear Children, Parents, Carers and Families, 

Welcome to Peartree Way Nursery School. We are a friendly, inclusive school, with a welcoming purpose-built environment and an extensive outdoor area, tucked away in the heart of Shephall. We have both Nursery and Preschool provision for children from 2years old to rising 5 and we offer both 15 hour and 30 hour funded places. 

I am proud to be the headteacher of this happy, nurturing school, working in partnership with our families and local community. Our vision of ‘Friendship, Fun and Learning for Life’ is reflected in our excellent provision and staff strive to respond to children’s interests and needs to make the most of every learning opportunity. When Ofsted last visited in 2024, our report stated that ‘The school provides a happy and vibrant learning environment where children are well cared for and are encouraged to do their very best. Children behave extremely well. They are respectful, courteous and supportive of the learning of others.’ 

We are passionate about developing positive relationships with all our families in order to fully understand, support and nurture each individual to achieve their potential.  We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our school.
